These places and things no longer exist. Some time in the past Laurel took this still life photo of the table next to my bed, a fresh narcissus from our yard in an old bottle. The blue chair in our little dining room. When we left for our trip, my damp swimsuit was draped here to dry.
Hi Eileen & Laurel (and family!) I'm so sorry to hear about everything, my mom just passed this on. I'm not sure where, I'll dig through my old photos to find them and the negatives, but I have a bunch of old pictures of you and Laurel at the Walk Circle house. There are some really sweet ones of you reading together on the front porch, and really funny ones of her eating. I also have a few good pictures from the last christmas we were together. If you let me know your mailing and email address, I will pass them on as quickly as I can. All my love and hugs and warm wishes, Mara
The Begley Family compound was destroyed in the Trabing Fire in Santa Cruz County, CA on June 20, 2008. This is the journal of Eileen - daughter, sister, mother.
